Jai Guru Dev Beloved Divine Friends -

Consider your life as sacred
Nothing stays forever. Good as well as bad times go away. Be happy, reminding yourself of this again and again. Our life as it is, is Sadhana. True sadhana is relaxing, deep relaxation. What do you want to know? Everything is destructible here. Everything is changing – your body, your intellect. Everything will dissolve. 30 years have passed like a moment*. Time is running so fast. If you feel there is something which is not changing, that is your consciousness. Let us settle there, which is not changing. Make use of this time in the best manner.

In every human being’s life, some dispassion comes in naturally. But through knowledge, dispassion comes in more quickly. Otherwise, the dispassion does not mature and trickles in here and there. But if there is sharp intellect, knowledge and good satsang, dispassion comes in like a jet plane. Dispassion is not being apathetic, that everything is useless, pointless, but the attitude of having ‘been there, done that; I am above all this.’ A joyful, carefree state of being is known as dispassion.

Drop Your Sankalpas
Nature wants to give you bigger things but we hold on to our small desires & keep worrying. Drop all your sankalpas! The secret is the one who knows how to drop his sankalpas he will be the one who will manifest his sankalpa. This is the biggest secret. The Gurus taught becoming an expert is dropping your sankalpas. I want this, I want to do this, drop it! I don't want this, I want that, drop it. When you learn how to drop it you learn how to receive everything. Become hollow and empty.

Knowledge of Death
You know what, you must know about your death you must know you are going to die one day. That’s it. The whole drama is going to finish. Where are you? Wake up,wake up. We are all going to be finished one day. Everything is going to finish. Something bothers you too much? It is because you have forgotten you are going to die. Knowledge of death or just an awareness that we are going to die one day, everything is going to be finished, nothing will bother you anymore. Got it?

Step by Step
The more you encourage lust, the more it catches you and gets you into trouble. There are two things that usually people do to handle lust. A) Try to stop it. B) Encourage it. Neither is correct. Observe a middle path. Observe the mind. Be regular to your Seva, sadhana and satsang, you will see how desire ceases to trouble you – step by step

Who Am I
God is not an object who will appear in front of you and say, ‘My dear, I am very pleased with you, with your tapasya (penance)’. God is that which is beyond the soul. Everything is driven by the power of God. Have faith and surrender, meditate. Bring your awareness to your soul, ‘who am I’.

Life is bliss.
Suffering in the world is because of lack of wisdom. Don’t put this sankalp, this intention in your mind that life is all suffering. As you sow, so shall you reap! If you sow the thought that life is all suffering, then that’s what you are going to get back. All these different desires for experiences, for living, for knowing, they arise and they get fulfilled and they move. Is there anybody who has not fulfilled any desire? Or is there anybody who has fulfilled all the desires? Is there any end for it

With Warm Regards
Lakshmi Narayanan
